21 Glen Cove Artists on Display in All-County Show at Adelphi

Twenty-one Glen Cove student artists representing all six schools will have their work displayed at the Art Supervisors Association of Nassau County’s All-County Art Exhibit at Adelphi University in Garden City this Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. The free exhibit will take place at the Ruth S. Harley Center and will honor more than 1,200 Kindergarten through twelfth grade students who have demonstrated excellence in a wide variety of two-dimensional visual art forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics, and photography. This year, over 400 art educators from more than 200 schools in 45 Nassau County school districts, will submit student artwork for this prestigious exhibit.

The following Glen Cove School District students will have their work on display at the exhibit:

Connolly School: Colleen Coelho, Reese Comitino
Deasy School: Alisa Tarasovskaya
Gribbin School: Angelica Batres Guardado, Sofia Greco
Landing School: Priscilla Dolan, Holly Farnan
Finley Middle School: Tara Coelho, Elizabeth Chavez, Alexa Dominguez, Anna Nazarova, Lauren Retoske
Glen Cove High School: Michelle Arguello, Martin Bonilla, Jennifer Canales, Jenna Cunniff, Herman Dakota, Taylah Hudson, Papa Kassandra, Delaney Montaito, Natalie Tenke (ASA scholarship winner)
